Artist Statement
After working in the sound side of the film industry for over thirty years I needed a change. Having qualified as a graphic designer about a hundred years ago and done very little work in the art world, painting just seemed like a good idea. I started painting again in 2001 and I am having fun. Lots of fun.
Currently involved in helping run the Fish Slab Gallery, Oxford Street, Whitstable. The gallery is available to artists living in the Whitstable area, rent costs £75 per week in the Winter and £100 per week in the Summer. The gallery has been immensely popular over the years and is fully booked for all of 2010. The gallery has a Face Book Group.
